Gottová as on a swing: Medicines, drinking, suicide attempt and constant moving<

Dominika Gottová has not known how to deal with her life for the past three years. Karel Gott's daughter has changed her plans several times during this period and practically nothing works out as she would have imagined. Instead of success, Dominika reaps one cold shower after another.

Being the daughter of the most famous singer has always been more of a curse for Dominika Gottová. Unlike her father, Dominika never wanted fame, which is why she emigrated to Finland twenty years ago to join her husband, Timo Tolkki.

Karel Gott was never enthusiastic about his first-born daughter's relationship and made no secret of the fact that he did not like his son-in-law. At the end of his life, the singer even expressed his wish several times for Dominika to return to her native country. Although it finally came true, he unfortunately did not live to hear the good news.

Gottová decided to leave Helsinki after she caught Tolkki with his lover in their apartment and she ran out of patience with her unfaithful husband. Dominika wanted to start from scratch in the Czech Republic and put the past behind her, but unfortunately her stay in Prague resembled a ride on a roller coaster.

Evicted from the apartment, fire, liters of alcohol and serious illness

After her arrival, Dominika Gottová found asylum with her friend Šárka Rezková, but in the end the friendly help ended in a sharp dispute. According to the host, Gottová drank liters of hard alcohol and wine during the visit, and it all culminated when a drunk Dominika almost set the house on fire from a burning cigarette.

Rezková then ran out of patience and threw the "rare" visitor out on the street. Gottová then managed to find her own home, but even after that her situation did not improve much. Working as a barmaid, she barely earned the rent, and in addition, the long-term consumption of drugs and alcohol began to take a toll on her health.

Dominika repeatedly collapsed and ended up in the care of doctors, where she heard a sad verdict. She has developed severe diabetes over years of uncontrolled living, and that is not the only serious diagnosis. Slavík's daughter suffers from high blood pressure and a fatty liver, or steatosis. Accumulated fat in the liver gradually affects healthy areas, so there is less and less functional tissue. At that time, experts advised Gottova to immediately enter a rehab clinic, but she refused, saying that she would only be treated in Helsinki, where they offered her a more relaxed regimen. She ended up staying in the facility for ten days.

Suicide attempt, debts and a destroyed apartment

Escape to Finland was supposed to be another new beginning for Dominika Gottová. However, the famous singer's daughter tried to commit suicide on her first trip to see her husband. Fortunately, she didn't succeed and actually moved to the country within a few weeks.

Initially rosy plans about a renewed marriage and a carefree life away from the media, however, were quickly replaced by harsh reality. Dominika had to live in a social apartment because she did not have the standard rent. Instead of supporting his wife, Timo Tolkki packed his bags and went to pursue a career in Mexico, so Gottová was once again left alone. In the end, she decided to move to Prague again, because even after a year she could not find a job in Finland.

In Prague, however, Gotta's daughter has other worries. During her quick departure, Dominika left behind a debt of around thirty thousand crowns in the rented apartment, which the owner demands to be paid. But Dominika is said to know about this obligation and is going to pay everything and start with a clean slate. The next few weeks will show whether she will do better this time than in the past.
