Czech astrophysicist Lenka Zychová (pictured on February 20, 2019) is an expert on space weather at the Belgian Institute of Space Aeronomy in Brussels. He is responsible for the environment from the upper end of the atmosphere to the Sun. It tracks how space weather interacts with Earth's atmosphere and how it affects life on Earth. What is your favorite star?For me, Vega is the most popular. Probably for the reason that in summer the night sky is beautiful to see with the naked eye. And it is also interesting in that it has its own planetary system and new planets are formed around it.

What else can stars do?For example, they enrich stellar material, from which new stars are then formed. They then create new elements in their envelopes, such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon and others. These elements are then released into the surrounding environment and can give rise to new life. So it could be said that we too came from the stars because we contain elements created by the stars.
