A woman from Arizona helped her best friend give birth. But then she found out that the father of the child is her husband. He was betrayed by the birth defect he shared with the newborn.

Hailey Custerová shared her story on the social network TikTok, where it has already been seen by over three million people. She herself had problems with drugs in the past and only got rid of the addiction when she found out she was pregnant. Then she learned that her friend was in a similar situation - she was also taking drugs, found out she was pregnant, and had nowhere to go. She decided to take her in.

She subsequently took care of the woman - took her to doctors and was with her in the maternity ward. She even wore a bracelet meant for fathers there. After that, when she bathed the newborn for the first time, she noticed that he had a birth defect on his neck. But it was the same as her son's, writes the Daily Mail.

"I know what it looks like because my older son has it. It's cartilage that grows on the side of the neck. I was changing her daughter when I noticed she had it too. Some of his other kids have it too, we say that Bowling bump, so I immediately knew that the child was my husband's," she described on the social network how she learned that the father of the child is her husband - thirty-six-year-old Travis Bowling.

28-year-old Custer was with him for six years, and they even had three children together. But that's not all, Custer now claims Bowling cheated on her with as many as 30 women during their marriage and fathered a child with two of them.

Although it might seem like something like this would destroy a friendship between women, it doesn't. Her friend had nowhere to go with the baby after giving birth, so Custer decided to forgive her and keep her with her.

"I had to think about my children and at the end of the day, he's their blood relative and I'm not going to be the one to hurt a child," Custer said. "I was angry, of course, but she stayed with me. She helped me with the children and I helped her with hers," she added.

While they took care of the household together, the children's father took drugs and hung out outside. Custer eventually broke up with him. But for the sake of the children, she tries to maintain a good relationship with him, including with her friend. In the end, she says, she is grateful that she was able to experience the birth with her.
