Australian firefighters reveal their sexy bodies for charity calendar

The internationally recognized calendar of Australian firefighters is particularly good this year, according to experts. Each of its five editions (Classic, Cats, Dogs, Horses and Animal Mix) was photographed by firemen from South East Queensland, straight away half-naked.

At the same time, the fittest Australian firefighter Matt Haydon poses on the cover of the opening summer calendar.

The creators of the calendar did not leave anything to chance, they also chose animals from 5,000 photos of various animals sent to them by their owners.

"Pet owners from all over the world have applied to us. One cat owner even wanted to fly here from Moscow," the creative director of the calendar, Crystal Doohan, tells the AP agency.

A similar casting took place for the firefighters themselves, whose girlfriends, mothers or grandmothers signed up for it in most cases. However, most of them learned that this happened only at the moment when they were selected.

This year, proceeds from the calendar will go to various animal welfare groups, such as Native Animal Rescue, Wildcare Inc., Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Australian Seabird Rescue, Fauna Rescue of SA, Healing Hooves, Reason to Thrive, Kids with Cancer Foundation and Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

"Our calendars thus help raise funds for injured domestic and wild animals that would have perished without our help. At the same time, they also raise awareness of the work and importance of firefighters," concludes David Rogers, one of the organizers of the event.
