People who are used to helping and bringing unnecessary things to the charity shops of the humanitarian organization ADRA, or those in social need who come for clothes and other material aid, will find the facilities of ADRA in Karviná at other addresses.

"For five years we had a charity shop and social wardrobe in Prameny, in Karviná-Ráj, the charity shop now has clients at tr, Osvobození 1365, the social wardrobe is at the end of this street, at number 1728. There is only a social wardrobe," said Marcela Holková, head of social wardrobes.

In the charity shop, people can donate their unnecessary things, clothes, dishes, toys, books, etc., but they can also shop here. They also help financially. In the social wardrobe, things are free, but they are issued on a recommendation.

"Our clients have recommendations from social services, the Red Cross or Diakonia, where it is written that they are needed. Based on that, they receive five pieces per person per month," explained Holková.

"We will sort it here, take it apart, put it on the shelves for everyone," added volunteer Ludmila Madziová.

There are two charity shops in Karviná, one of which is now on tr. Liberation, near the department store, the second one has been working on us for a long time. Builders.
