Absolventka Fashion designu: Líčím modelky, herce či zpěváky…just the work of my dreams

Lenka Sedlmayerová graduated from Fashion Design at High School in Kateřinky. Now she works as a make -up artist and is happy. The school helped her to clarify her life goals.I want to pursue graphics, says in a short interview.

What you're doing? Now I'm a make -up artist, I go to make models, brides, singers to music clips and actors...just the work of my dreams.I plan to devote myself more to graphics and make -up artist.

Did it help you to complete our field for application in practice? Thanks to the hours like styling and modeling in which we had the opportunity to train on each other's makeup from Facechart (which we could also create according to ourselves or on the topic) I could always train my hand over and over again. And actually in the lessons of drawing. So the field helped me a lot.He also helped me to clarify my goals, because I enjoy the make -up artistics at this school when we rode our shows.Another subject that caught my attention was the graphics where we tried all the basic features of Photoshop, which fits me in my work to edit photos.

Have you worked in the field during your studies?I started in the second year with the help of great teachers and of course from my own belief that I really want to do it.

The school gave me the foundation of the craft, I also remember the teachers, says the graduate of the field Josef Trakal

Josef Trakal has been designing the design since 2005.He was brought to the industry by the secondary school in Kateřinky.Five years ago he founded his own interior studio.

What do you do and how do you see your future in the industry? I am an interior designer.I have been designing since 2005, to which I was brought to me by the Secondary School of Furniture Creation and Design in Liberec. At the moment I will lead the design studio, which I take as another base of life, experience and challenge. The next step was the FUA study at the Technical University of Liberec, led by Bořek Šípek, Leona Matějková and Jaroslav Brabec.

In 2015 I founded my own interior studio and since then I have been cooperating with architectural and design offices, graphic studies and crafts that are necessary for implementation of the necessity.I deal with private interiors of apartments, family houses, as well as commercial projects such as restaurants, cafes and thanks to cooperation with architects I get to large development projects, where you deal with everything on a much larger scale. In 2016, with a friend of the designer and a former student of the High School in Kateřinky, Nelou Makarovská founded a studio of three dots, where we focus mainly on product design and graphics, which is very often intertwined with interior projects that I suggest.I see the future in the industry so I want to do only what I enjoy. This is my goal and philosophy of my career.

What do you enjoy? On my work I enjoy my head of diversity. Each project is original, each new client is original and every new solution is the original. There are constantly increasing companies with new materials and technologies and all the richer and more interesting interiors I can create. In my personal life I enjoy nature, in line skates and good mood.

What did you study at high school in Kateřinky? I think the school gave me the foundation of the craft that is needed to design.Nowadays, wood that I like to use in projects is a big trend and I have an overview and notion of production technologies and manufacturing thanks to school practice. From an artistic point of view, my studies gave me the most under the guidance of Ing.Sheet.Vojtěch Šrut, who prepared me well for further study at university, showed a different kind of thinking and approach I should have to design.Another person who influenced me most was the designer Leona Matějková, who led me throughout my studies at the Technical University of Liberec. Thanks to it I create every project based on a strong concept behind which I stand. However, I was most taught by my independent practice, interest in design and purposefulness.
