Test of toilet cleanliness in shopping centers: Hell in Ústí, Paradise in Ostrava<

* With one exception, we only tested women's toilets in large shopping centers across the country.In Prague we chose five, in Brno, Ostrava and Hradec Králové after three and other regions (except Jihlava) two centers.

* The number of stars (maximum is 10) is calculated depending on how the toilets meet the standard of equipment (clothing and bags hooks, toilet paper, trash basket, hygienic bags, brushes, disposable boards, space, equipment for children)Is the visit charged if all the equipment is functional, how clean the toilet is and how carefully they are washed.

* We tested the thoroughness of the cleaning with a special inspection marker, which is designed for similar checks and whose traces are visible only under UV light.We have checked twice in a row after 24 hours to see if the smudges are wiped out.

As we tested

On the back of the cutting board, the flushing and its surroundings and around the inner handle at the door we drew various smudges and lines with an invisible marker.

After approximately 24 hours, we have checked with UV light to see if the tracks of the fix disappeared.We repeated the whole test after a week.

In several places UV lamp revealed that no one did not have been the cutting board for the whole day.

Inspection marker

We used a special inspection marker with UV lamp for the test.As the manufacturer writes, "Ink is very easy to wash, if the place does not shine through the secret brand, the cleaning was fine".The price of such a pen is 240 CZK.
