You can't fly with one wing, but I met angels<

It is always a difficult financial question for us, where to get money for gifts for "my" children from the two Rybka asylums in Husinc and Studená (around 50 children). When I passed by the chocolate calendars several times this year, I was determined to buy them from my own funds, because it would be a big disappointment for "my" children if Santa Claus didn't come to us. When I came home and opened my e-mail, there was a message from teacher Alena Šebestová from ZŠ Hlinkyv Týn nad Vltavou asking if we would like chocolate calendars for our children. If so, then she "discusses" it with her kids in class, who are amazing and their parents are amazing too.

Of course, we wanted it and a lot. The teacher agreed with the children's parents that the children would bring the calendars. And they also brought toys, clothes... One dad even bought Albi a pencil, which is very expensive. But that wasn't the end of my surprises. I was called by Mrs. Pikalová from Správa soc. the security of Česká Budějovice, as we are doing with Christmas cookies this year. Actually, our moms can bake, we have all the equipment, but not everyone can do it, and not everyone can afford it.

Can you imagine my joy when someone approaches us if we need something? We agreed to pick up the candy right before Christmas so it would be fresh. We actually picked up the candy. There was not only a lot, but one has to admire how many varieties and with what care it was baked. I have to thank Mrs. Pikalová, her mother and her friends, who put in the wonderful work so that my children didn't miss anything on the Christmas table. We also received collections, various sweets, gift packages for our children from them...

Because I also take care of a father with four children who does not live in our asylum and is not doing well at all, Mrs. Pikalová and her colleagues from the Social Security Administration helped us with fundraising. It's not the first time they've helped us. They already did a non-perishable food collection for us when we were not doing well at all. It is an irreplaceable help.

You see, a man can try as hard as he wants, give it all he can, but when he's on his own, he's empty-handed. And as they say, you can't fly with one wing. But I wasn't alone, thanks to these precious people. I met ANGELS.
