Květa Konarova waist of Horse Horse - Žďárský diary<

How did you get to it?

By chance.Once I had nothing to do again, I went to put it to the cauldron, and as I sat there and wondered what to do, I remembered I had a lot of hay on horses. And so it started. The first animal was a sheep. Then there were five of them and then I thought I would try something other than the sheep.

Did you say it started with a sheep, isn't this animal for a person who has never done it, too complicated?

The sheep is the easiest.Really.Is doing very well.Much more complicated is to shape other animals.

Have you read the instructions somewhere in the literature or did you start without any advice?

No, I didn't look for anything anywhere.I deliberately thought that I would not look anywhere or on the Internet.I was proud to do it all alone without any advice and help.I looked at the instructions much later, but my first animals were made without instructions.

So when you finally looked at the instructions, do you do it correctly?

No I have my own system and procedure.

And will you tell him?

I have a friend that creates a wooden skeleton. This is actually the foundation.I put hay on that skeleton and wrap it gradually strings.I still wrap and cat hay until I get the desired shape.I'm starting from my head, and when the head is finished, I can see what it will look like in the end.

Do you use the strings ordinary, or does it have to be special?

Quite ordinary, but they must be firm to not break right away.

What was the hardest for you?

Probably nothing, I really enjoy it and it's nothing hard.Only when it has been done for a long time and more animals, it hurts a little hand.

Some of your creations also enjoy small visitors to the Horácké Museum in Nové Město na Moravě…

I was there as part of the Easter demonstration and finally kept a few animals there.Sheep, horses, hare, hen and rooster… and then we agreed that they would be interested in a larger horse, as I have at home in the garden. It is almost life -size.So I made it for the kids.

How long has a large horse have been produced?

Moon certainly.First I had to ask for a wooden skeleton again to make it solid.I then wrapped the base, fell a large number of strings and hay.The hay always got off and had to add another layer and so over and over again. In the summer the horse gets in the garden always hard, I clean it for the winter and in the spring I will correct a little bit.

You have talked about the fact that not only a large number of strings but also hay will fall to make animals. How about hay, do you dry it yourself?

I still had some stock of hay from the time we had horses. Now my hay is carrying a friend who disturbing rabbits, and daughter from Dalečín.The horses have and I sometimes pick them up some bag.Fortunately, the little animals do not fall much.

Do we already know your biggest animal from hay, but it was the smallest?

I have one such little rat here. But it is more of a sample and scaring. But I do small bunnies too.Such a tinker, they are made without a skeleton.

Do you have any other hobbies?

Traveling, crochet, just everything possible.I hate if nothing happens, I still have to do something.

Is it possible to buy a pet from you?

Definitely yes. When someone arrives, rings and looks, certainly yes.I was also with them at the fair and twice at the sales event in the Horácké Museum.Interest in them was, the animals liked.Especially to children.
