"Perinatal hospice cares for families whose child was diagnosed with a life-limiting defect during pregnancy and for families who lost a child before, during or after birth. We do not judge anyone, we also accompany families who decide to terminate a pregnancy. Our job is to help the family get through this extremely difficult period," Kolčavová explains the activities of the association.
The team of people who take care of families is managed by Alena Peremská.
"We are currently cooperating with the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at the hospital in Šternberk and we are starting to communicate with the doctors at the hospital in Šumperk," adds Peremská.
