Parents should never lie to their children. The actor doesn't even think about who brings the presents<

"An adult should always answer truthfully to children. I have successfully applied this strategy to all eight of my children. I didn't lie even when the children asked me who was carrying the Christmas presents. Parents should never lie to their children," says Stellan Skarsgard in an interview with The Guardian.

“You don't lie to them. Even if they ask you very uncomfortable questions as young children, be honest. Otherwise, sooner or later the child will find out that his parents lied to him. If they ask, also say who is carrying the presents. Santa Claus doesn't exist. At least we don't have evidence about him," the actor describes, adding that he learned the most in life from children and that they had a very positive influence on him.

With his current wife Megan Evert, the well-known Swedish actor has two sons, twelve-year-old Ossain and nine-year-old Kolbjorn.

With his first wife Mya Skarsgard, he has a forty-five-year-old son Alexander, forty-one-year-old Gustaf, thirty-nine-year-old Sam, thirty-one-year-old Bill, thirty-six-year-old Valter and a twenty-nine-year-old daughter Eija. All the sons from the first marriage are also actors.
