Do you also feel that people are becoming more and more indifferent to others? Instead of being interested in their surroundings, they look at their mobile phones, out the window or read. The young British Sophie Molineux has the same experience. When she traveled with her one-year-old son, Chester, on an overcrowded train, no one would let her sit. While she was holding him in her arms, she would really welcome a place to sit.

Breastfeeding

The mother breastfed in the Church of St. Vitus. Security kicked her out. Why?

"The people pretended not to be involved so they wouldn't have to give up their seats," Sophie describes. Even when the young woman sat down on the ground and began to nurse, none of the fifty fellow passengers got up to offer her a seat.

The young woman had to settle for the dirty ground of the train. "I was shocked, there were about fifty people on the train, and no one got up," Sophie describes disappointedly. "We were standing in the aisle between the seats, so there's no way they couldn't see us, they just didn't want to give up their comfort," he adds.

As she says herself, she had no choice: "Of course, I would have preferred to nurse him in a pleasant place, but I had to settle for the dirty floor of the train," she says. It is said that people walked past the young mother to the toilet, saw her breastfeeding, but no one thought to help her. "They looked at me, found out what I was doing, and then looked away and the absent expression again," he adds.

Sophie with her husband Rob and son Chester wanted to visit the castle in the town of Ludlow and enjoy a family trip. Since neither of them drive, they chose to travel by train. They are extremely disappointed by what happened to them. "We didn't ask anyone to get up and make room for us, but those people saw us standing with a small child in an aisle on a crowded train. Of course, one might argue that the toddler should have stayed in the stroller and received a bottle, but since I'm breastfeeding, I had to take it out...," defends a young woman who didn't think twice and shared her experience on social networks. If only to make people realize how they behave and be more considerate of each other.
