They wouldn't throw them away. People in České Těšín donated bicycles for Gambia<

More than three per thousand. The Ostrava public prosecutor was driving drunk, the court decided it

Miroslav Sluštík and David Adámek also donated their older bicycles to children in Africa. "They were no longer used in our family, we bought newer ones. They are fully mobile, just to blow your mind. It is a good idea to use old unused things and enable children in Africa to go to school. Especially when we see what it's like for our children to have closed schools and not be in contact with their classmates," the young men say in unison.

The director of the Trianon organization, Viliam Šuňal, experienced this collection for the first time and was said to be very surprised when people brought their bikes not only from Těšín, but also from the surrounding area, from Louk, Chotěbuze and other municipalities.

A wolf came to the center of Bystřice pod Beskydy and killed a sheep. The people in the village are in shock!

Joy for a child in Africa

“Some people said that they had an emotional relationship with the bike and it had been sitting in the garage or basement for years, but they said they wouldn't scrap it. They were already going to put it into operation, but when the opportunity arose, they decided to devote it to a cause for the time being, that it might bring joy to some child in Africa," says Šuňal. "They didn't refuse any bikes, we also take non-functional ones," he added. According to him, this is a great idea and he would like to thank all the donors.

Charita Třinec is organizing a collection from Monday 10 to 21 May. "This year we made an agreement with the municipal company STARS, which has a fenced area in Třinec. Bicycles can be dropped off every working day between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., or by appointment at 558 993 587. If someone is unable to deliver the bike themselves, our volunteer or employee can come and pick it up," said the director of Charity Třinec, Monika Byrtusová.

Last year, the residents of Třinec and the surrounding villages handed in 200 bikes as part of the May collection, which filled two containers. The Municipality of Třinec also joined the collection, donating bikes from "lost and found" that no one had applied for for several years.
