The period from Monday to October 31 as a whole will not deviate from the normal values for this part of the year. "As autumn continues, average weekly temperatures will gradually decline, but they will usually be within the normal values for the time of year," say meteorologists. According to meteorologists, the week from October 18 to 24 could be warmer than usual.

Even with the amount of rain, this October will probably not be exceptional. This week it will rain the most on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. "On other days, precipitation will be little or no significant," meteorologists say. According to their estimate, the relatively rainiest week was supposed to be the week from 11 to 17 October. But even that will not be fundamentally different from the long-term normal.

The long-term average temperature in the Czech Republic in the period from 4 to 31 October is 8.9 degrees Celsius. The coldest year in this period was 1946, when the average dropped to 5.3 degrees. On the contrary, in 1966 it reached 13 degrees Celsius, which is the most so far.

The monthly outlook expresses the overall nature of the weather, so it does not cover all possible fluctuations, meteorologists warn. The success of the outlook is around 75 percent at temperatures and around 65 percent at precipitation. The forecast for the third and fourth weeks is often close to the long-term climate values for the respective periods.
