Vendors from smaller stores agree that it is not yet possible to say whether everything will return to the old ways. "According to one day, not much can be said," says Mr. Vladimír from a small watchmaker in Soukenická Street, where one customer can go due to current measures. A few have arrived since morning. The owner does not dare to guess how it will go on. "I have not experienced such a situation yet," he added.

Prádelna u Elišky can also be found in the same street. It could have been open before - except in March, when it could only provide services to companies. According to the owner, everything has been different since last March. "Life is really slow," he says. According to her, a small number of people in the city are known, and corporate customers are missing.

"When someone comes, I'll be amazed," says a saleswoman from a boutique in Provaznická Street near Wenceslas Square. According to her, no surge can be expected. According to her, the center is still uninteresting for people and life in the center will not just return to its old ways. Although regular customers who come from another city come to it, there is no random passers-by and many people, according to her, also go to shopping malls.

Queues in shopping malls

There was actually more vivid knowledge on Monday than in small shops. In the Černý Most Shopping Center, several people waited to be able to go to the Foot Locker sports shoes and clothing store or the AW Lab sports shoe store. No queues formed in front of other shoe chains, but there were more customers in them than in stores with other goods. Some people shopped in toy stores, others in bookstores, some went to clothing stores or jewelry stores.

Quiet traffic was this morning and morning also in the center of Arcade Pankrac. There were customers in most of the stores, but they fit comfortably within the prescribed capacity, so the staff did not have to regulate traffic at the entrance.

At OC DBK, about a dozen people stood in front of the watchmaking. "I'm used to wearing a watch. Although I can look at my cell phone for a while, I missed my watch, and I'm glad I can finally have it fixed, "said the older woman, who was waiting in front of the watch. She added that the watch had been broken for about three weeks. Another customer stated that she had been waiting for the opening of the watchmaking for several months.

No queues were formed in the morning in OC Nový Smíchov. Most of the shops opened there for shoppers, only in front of the British Marks & Spencer clothing store, people had to wait for the previous ones to leave. People there were interested in bookstores, but in numbers that did not require a special regime.

In the Lužiny Shopping Center, a queue formed in the morning at the Kik clothing store 30 minutes before it opened. Due to the limited number of customers, people stood in front of it after noon. The owner of the UDI Group shopping center expects attendance to increase by up to half. "With regard to deferred consumption, we expect increased demand for purchases in the first days and weeks and the associated increased to extraordinary number of customers in the shopping center. Cleaning and security are therefore strengthened and customers do not have to worry about environmental hygiene, "said UDI Group spokeswoman Marcela Fialková. As she further stated, restrictions still apply in gastronomy, where food can be bought at windows but cannot be consumed in the shopping center.

People in the OC today also used the services of hairdressers and barbers from the morning, who were able to resume operations a week ago.

Measures

In stores, there is a limit of 15 meters per customer, people must have their mouths and noses covered, and they should disinfect their hands when entering the store. Catering establishments in the OC may continue to issue snacks only with them, children's corners, cinemas or fitness centers may not operate.

Due to the second wave of the pandemic, the government banned retail sales from October 22. It allowed a short, roughly three-week break-up in December, but due to the bad epidemic situation, most stores were not allowed to reopen after Christmas.
