When choosing sportswear, it is necessary to clarify which sport you want to wear it primarily. If you do jogging or other outdoor aerobic sports, you need to think especially about the first functional layer, which should be pleasant on the body and at the same time wick away sweat to prevent hypothermia.

The next layer should then serve as protection against inclement weather. It is therefore important to monitor the value of the water column.

This is especially true in the case of alpine tourism, where the jacket should generally have a water column of at least 5000 mm. In general, the more demanding the conditions, the higher the demands on the function of the membrane.

In outdoor tourism, when the body is not in such a large team, it is appropriate to include the middle layer, which fulfills the function of thermoregulation. A proven classic is the fleece sweatshirt.

Another important item when choosing outdoor clothing is breathability. During physical exertion, the body warms up and needs to remove excess moisture. So choose clothes in which your skin will be able to breathe. Breathability is classified as RET, and the lower the value, the more breathable the substance.

Did you choose a jacket that meets the breathability and water column to number one? You haven't won yet. The quality of the seams, zippers and other details that the jacket is wearing is also important.

Thus, for example, if a softshell jacket does not have taped seams, the high parameters of the water column are useless because the water flows through the place where the fabric is sewn.

Quality shoes should be a matter of course. In the mountains, choose the ankle variant, which will provide the foot with appropriate support. A thicker sole is also important, as well as waterproof properties.

If you prefer indoor activities, take a look at a seamless set of leggings and a sports bra, which hugs the body perfectly and does not irritate the skin anywhere due to the absence of seams.
