How to dispose of textile waste? - Ekolist.cz<

I ask you for information on how and where to dispose of textile waste so that it can be reused.

Answer: 16. February 2001
Collection bins for separated waste textiles work perhaps only in Brno, where they are operated by the company E + B textil sro, I have not been able to find a similar activity in other cities. The situation in Prague is described by Mrs. Růžena Horváthová from Textiles that can be used as waste can be disposed of, for example, in the Naděje center; our readers have sent us a web address to a company that deals with the purchase and sale of waste textiles. A certain alternative for those who have a garden could be mulching natural textiles in their garden, I will leave the textiles, which no one wants and needs anymore, to take to a landfill, to a landfill or to offer them on the waste exchange.

You can put old clothes on the Potex charity project. In addition to clothing, you can also put textiles, shoes, handbags, clothing accessories, home textiles, toys ... (all materials that can still be useful). The containers are in several different cities in the Czech Republic.

Thank you for your effort, because I asked on more pages, I managed to find out more. Larger amounts of textile waste can be disposed of, for example, in cement plants for incineration through companies (Mario Pedersen ...) dealing with waste disposal. At the same time, there are companies that process waste (eg Ekotex, Uhotex ..), but it must be mostly 100% CO, or 100% artificial fabric. They usually do not process mixed substances. A processing line in Brno may be built for mixed substances. Secondary raw materials will probably not pay you anything for textile waste, but they also do not want any amount of disposal for you. Well, you can also find such a purchase, where you put textile waste. Regards
