Stabbed by a man in the Kroměříž region, the police accused his acquaintance of murder

A woman originally from Olomouc called the police on Friday evening to one of the villages near Holešov in the Kroměříž region in the Zlín region.

A man with a pierced chest lay on the spot, and according to investigators, the woman first claimed that she had done nothing to him.

"It simply came to our notice then. The police still tried to save the man and revived the injured man until the medical aid arrived. However, the summoned paramedics later stated that he had died, "police spokesman Petr Jaroš informed about the case on Monday.

Police eventually accused the woman, who she said knew the deceased well, of murder. According to investigators, she called the police shortly after the crime.

"A woman faces up to 20 years in prison if she is sentenced," Jaroš added, adding that the court sent the accused into custody at the suggestion of the police and the public prosecutor's office.
